Mostly postcard pictures. Mostly analog.
Postcards of a human-altered nature. With beauty and tragedy in them. Pictures between documentary observation and constructed emptiness. A meditation on what happens when humans exit the frame, or remain so distant they become merely suggestions of scale.
I photograph to take a closer look, to distract myself with impressions of reality.
Despite all of this theory — or perhaps because of it — I'm mostly taking postcard pictures.
